The Trio de Cologne has been called “the best guitar trio in the world” and is considered one of the most outstanding chamber music ensembles of today. They have performed throughout North and South America and Europe, leaving audiences dazzled and prompting critical praise of the very highest order. Zoran Dukic, (Croatia) Laura Young (Canada) and Pablo Marquez (Argentina) have appeared as soloists in concerts all over the world and have been showcased individually by countless chamber and orchestral ensembles. 

They have won an incredible amount of first prizes in the most prestigious international guitar competitions in the world:

All of this extraordinary talent, poetic musicality and “explosive virtuosity” together with a mixture of their distinct cultural backgrounds from 3 continents has been conjoined to form a truly remarkable ensemble. Composers such as Carlo Domeniconi, Sergio Assad, Atanas Ourkouzounov, Alan Torok and Steingrimur Rohlof among others have been inspired to dedicate compositions to this Trio.
