Dann Huff - Musiker, Sänger und Songwriter. Einer der beliebtesten im Business. Er ist u.a. auf Alben von Madonna, Amy Grant, Michael Jackson, Michael Bolton, Mariah Carey und vielen mehr verewigt.

Geboren wurde er 1960 und wuchs in einer musikalischen Familie auf. Sein Vater, Ronn Huff, arbeitete als Dirigent und Arrangeur. Dann bevorzugte die Gitarre. Er nahm etwas Unterricht (auch etwas Klassik), aber spielte das meiste nach Gehör. Als er 13 war, verbrachte ein Session-Gitarrist namens John Darnall etwas Zeit damit, ihm mehr beizubringen und brachte ihn damit erst richtig auf den Geschmack.

In der High School war Dann Mitglied einer Schülerband. Mit 16 Jahren spielte er bereits Demos in Nashville ein. Mit 20 war er Mitbegründer der Rockband "Whiteheart". Die anderen Mitglieder waren sein Bruder David (Schlagzeug), Sänger Steve Green, Keyboarder Billy Smiley und Mark Gersmehl sowie Bassist Gary Lunn. Whiteheart brachte drei Alben heraus, bevor Dann die Band 1985 verließ.

Nachdem er Whiteheart auf der Suche nach etwas neuem verlassen hatte, gründete er zusammen mit seinem Bruder David die recht erfolgreiche Hard Rock / Heavy Metal-Band "Giant".

In den frühen 90ern machte er sich wieder selbständig, um seine Brötchen als Session-Musiker zu verdienen. Er spielte für Künstler wie Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, DC Talk und viele mehr (siehe oben), die sich in den oberen Rängen der Charts bewegen.

Dann produziert auch und hat auf Aufnahmen mit Metal Superstars wie z.B. Megadeth gemacht.
