Thanks to his numerous tours all around the world and his being accepted both by the audience and the music critics, Costas Cotsiolis is nowadays considered one of the greatest guitarists of his time and the most suitable interpreter of the work of the most important guitar composers of the 20th century LEO BROUWER.

He has worked in common concerts with big artists like John Williams, John Mc Laughlin, Maria Farantouri, Milva, Jose Antonio Rodriguez, Patrice Fontanarosa.

Great guitar composers like Leo Brouwer, Ernesto Cordero, Sergio Assad have dedicated their works to him while he has given many first performances of composers like Mikis Theodorakis, Thanos Mikroutsikos etc.

Since 1978 he has been the Art Director of the International Festival of Classical Guitar in Volos (Greece) where many fabulous guitarists appeared as well as young talented ones beginning an international career.

In 2000 he is starting the art monitoring of the "Guitar Festival" in the Concert Hall of Athens Megaro where the most brilliant names  of the guitar area perform.

He has appeared in great concert halls like the Auditorium De Madrid, Grant Auditorium Radio France, Concertgebow Amsterdam, Concert Hall BBC,Alt Opera Frankfurt, Palais de Beaux Arts Brussels, Concert Hall of Athens (Megaron), Herodium (the Acropolis Theater) etc. co-operating with great symphonic orchestras like the ones of the Broadcasting of Frankfurt, Paris, Brussels, BBC, The Junge Deutsche Philarmonie, the soloists of Sofia and Belgrade, the symphonic orchestra Queen Sofia of Madrid, Cordoba, Cannes,Lithuanian, etc.

He has appeared in the biggest guitar Festivals of the world like Cordoba, Liege, Canaria, Islands, Tijuana, Martinique, Leverkuzen, Havana, GFA of the USA etc.. He has taught seminars in big Universities and Music Academies abroad like the Manhattan School of Music, Weimar, Berlin, Dallas, Oslo, Mozarteum of Salzburg etc.
